Program

The workshop will commence Sunday evening with an opening reception and live music by local band Big Daddy MOJO.

There will a total of twelve scientific sessions (oral presentations); starting on Monday morning.  The oral sessions will begin with a 30-40 minute state-of-the-art presentation, followed by four (or three) 20 minute regular presentations.  These time slots include about 5 minutes for questions.

Posters will be displayed for the entirety of the workshop, if possible, to facilitate solid discussion of the posters.  There will be one official poster session on Wednesday, 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm, during which we request the poster presenters to be present at their posters.

The conference dinner will be Wednesday night.

The latest research advances will be presented by international leaders in the following topical sessions:

1) Biomechanics, Structure and Polymerization I, II, III
2) Fibrinolysis
3) Fibrinogen Interactions with Platelets and Red Blood Cells
4) Clinical Aspects I, II
5) Factor XIII
6) Animal & in vivo Studies I, II
7) Genetics, Variants & Population Studies
8) Fibrinogen, Inflammation & Disease

Entertainment will include live music on Sunday night (Big Daddy MOJO), Tuesday night (The Grassifieds, Bluegrass music), and Wedneday night (Julie Miller Money, Harp music); Butler tours on Monday night; and a tour of Reynolda House Museum of American Art and Reynolda Gardens on Tuesday afternoon.

The conference will conclude Thursday after lunch.
